The Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Imo State, is set to hold a five-day citywide gospel crusade and medical outreach in Owerri, State capital.
The event, tagged “The Great Redemption, Recovery, and Restoration through Jesus Christ,” will run from Wednesday, November 12 to Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Owerri City Primary School, Wetheral Road, opposite the Imo State Stadium.
Addressing newsmen in Owerri, the State Overseer, Pastor Emmanuel Okoro, averred that the programme is designed at offering both spiritual renewal and physical healing to residents who will be in attendance.
“The ministry is committed to addressing both the spiritual and physical needs of the people through the combination of gospel preaching and free medical services,” Pastor Okoro stated.
According to him, a team of qualified doctors, nurses, and health specialists has been mobilised to provide free medical consultations, screenings, general check-ups, and medications throughout the crusade.
He added that the event will also feature anointed messages, intensive prayers, deliverances, and soul-lifting worship sessions led by gospel artiste Israel Anyaele.
Daily activities will include “Lunch Hour with Jesus” at 1:00 p.m. and revival services at 4:00 p.m., with testimonies and praise sessions expected to highlight each day’s programme.
“There will be free transportation available for participants coming from outside Owerri Municipal, while adequate security arrangements have been made to ensure safety throughout the event.
The five-day crusade will be rapped up on Sunday, November 16, with a special citywide thanksgiving and testimony service, they described as “a day of divine visitation for the people of Imo State.”
Describing the programme as a spiritual and humanitarian intervention, Pastor Okoro who has been in the Ministry for 40 years, noted that Deeper Life has over the years, held similar programmes across Imo communities since his arrival in 2008.
“When I came into Imo State in April 2008, my first programme was titled ‘Bye to Poverty.’ Since then, we’ve moved from one local government to another, preaching salvation and bringing hope to the people.
“The greatest problem of man is sin, and we trust God to save all who come — from sinners to the most hardened criminals. This crusade is an opportunity for both spiritual redemption and physical restoration,” Okoro declared.
