Imo State billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Chief Tony Chukwu (Enwighihekaririchineke), has congratulated Chief Longers Anyanwu on his appointment as a Commissioner by Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Chukwu described the newly appointed Commissioner as a “tested and trusted” leader whose experience, loyalty, and commitment to public service have earned him the confidence of the governor.
He thanked Uzodimma for appointing his friend into the State Executive Council, adding that the appointment reflects the governor’s recognition of competence and dedication to the development of Imo State.
Anyanwu who is Ebubedike of Obowo,a prominent political figure from Okigwe Zone, recently secured appointment into Uzodimma’s cabinet after years of active participation in the state’s political process. Before his appointment, he contested the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary for Okigwe Zone, where he was widely acknowledged for his strong grassroots support and commitment to the party.
Congratulating the commissioner, Chukwu expressed confidence that Anyanwu would bring his wealth of experience to bear in office and make significant contributions to the Uzodimma administration.
“Chief Longers Anyanwu is a tested and trusted leader. I have no doubt that he will justify the confidence reposed in him by His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma. I thank the governor for finding him worthy to serve the people of Imo State at this critical time,” Tony Chukwu said.
He wished the newly appointed Commissioner a successful tenure and prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as he undertakes the responsibilities of his new office.
