The executive chairman of the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, Evang. Chika Okoroike, will on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, inaugurate the appointed leadership of the LGA’s chapter of a foremost human rights organization, Stand For Humanity Foundation.
The executive chairman who will chairman the event will deliver his goodwill message immediately after he inaugurates the leadership on behalf of his administration and the good people of the Isiala Mbano LGA.
The event which kick-starts at 1pm at No 3 Owerri – Okigwe Road at Anara community will have High Chief Mike Ejiogu, the traditional prime Minister of Anara Ancient kingdom as the special guest of honour with Eze Edmund Agim of Osuama autonomous community and Eze Stephen Ononoiwu of Ekwedim Autonomous community as the royal fathers of the Day, respectively.
A respected man of God, Apostle Dr Joseph Obi of International Miracle stadium- Idem, will serve as the spiritual father of the Day while the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Anara Divisional Police headquarters, will be on ground to provide adequate security.
The establishment of the Isiala Mbano LGA chapter of Stand For Humanity Foundation is as a result of the growing desire from the people of the area to have the respected human rights organization promote justice and fights human rights violation of all forms in the LGA.
The president of the organization, Chidiebube Okeoma, a renewed human rights crusader, had already led a delegation from the organization on courtesy visits to stakeholders in the LGA which included the DPO of Anara Divisional Police headquarters, traditional rulers, business people and community leaders ahead of the inauguration.
When inaugurated this Tuesday, the organization will work in synergy with government institutions, other Civil Society Organizations and community stakeholders to fight human rights abuses.
