Onuimo Patriots is a leading sociocultural organization in Onuimo LGA and her members cut across the four clans in Onuimo. In the same vein, our members are drawn from different political parties. We have taken time to examine the leadership style and achievements of the Executive Chairman Dr Emeka Paul Obi and in one accord resolved to pass vote of confidence on him. It is time to keep politics aside and applaud good works so as to motivate other sons and daughters of Onuimo to start thinking on how to render selfless services to our people.
The gigantic achievements so far recorded by Dr Emeka Obi’s administration are very clear for every eye to see. It is interesting to attest that members of the opposition parties in Onuimo LGA are applauding him. We have not forgotten in hurry about the insecurity that befallen on us before the inception of his administration. The horrible state of insecurity in Onuimo then was very bad whereby hoodlums freely attack Onuimolites in their various homes maiming, kidnapping and killing uninterrupted. In fact, Onuimo LGA was overran by hoodlums to the extent that Onuimolites run away and seek for refuge in other Areas. Immediately Dr Obi administration came onboard, he declared that he was mandated by the Executive Governor to maintain normalcy and vow to tackle the insecurity. To the admiration of every well meaning Onuimolite, he truly took up the security challenges and today normalcy has fully returned. Frankly speaking, Onuimolites are very happy and are going about their normal businesses without any form of molestation or otherwise. No wonder he won the best Local Government Chairman on Security affairs. In deed, we are proud of him and will continue to support his government.
We are aware of the numerous good jobs which Dr Emeka Obi is doing throughout the ten wards in Onuimo LGA; the perimeter facing of Onuimo Headquarters, constant palliative measures on our various communities roads, Solar lights, boreholes, rallying round various clans and communities in Onuimo primarily to maintain solid bonds among them, fixing rural electrification that were totally vandalized by hoodlums during the era of insecurity, promotion of coexistence between Onuimolites and non Onuimolites,, etc. Dr Emeka Obi is really doing well for Onuimolites as every ward in Onuimo has benefited from his administration in addition to the marvelous dividends of democracy from the state government. We are sincerely happy to observe that the love Onuimolites are showing to him in return is truly an organic one.
We further wish to thank our God sent Governor Dist Sen Hope Uzodimma for standing firm and ensuring that Onuimo have good leader in person of Dr Obi. The Executive Chairman Dr Obi Emeka is a known disciple of Dist Sen Hope Uzodimma and as such has been trying his best to link Onuimo to 3R mentra of the IMo State government. We are equally happy to notice that lots of dividend of democracy have been trickling down to wards in Onuimo LGA from the State government and at this juncture we wish to once again thank our God sent Governor Dist Sen Hope Odidika Uzodimma for all he has done for Onuimo LGA. May God continue to bless his Excellency.
Saying it the way it is, Onuimolites are happy and comfortable with the administration of Dr Obi Emeka Paul. The acceptance of Dr Obi’s style of leadership by the people of Onuimo LGA can be attested at anytime by other pressure groups in Onuimo such as Market Women Association, Okada Riders Association, Hunters Association, Onuimo Masterminds, Cassava producers Association, Onuimo youths, Medium Scale Traders Association, Association of Non Indigenes, etc. It is unarguably fact that the government of Dr Obi Emeka is popular as Onuimolites are genuinely happy with him and his team.
Our immense appreciations should also go to our political, religious and traditional leaders for their contributions toward sustenance of peace and condusive environment in our dear Local Government. We are aware of the resounding support from the political Leaders of Onuimo extraction.
Onuimo Patriots wish to state that we will not tolerate any act or utterance with the evil intention to distract Dr Obi government from doing good work for the betterment of Onuimo LGA.
