His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, Governor of Imo State, on behalf of the Government and the good people of the State, is delighted to invite all Imo people, residents, and the general public to the Golden Jubilee anniversary celebration of the State’s creation.
The week-long celebrations will commence on Sunday, 1 February 2026, with an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service at the Ndubuisi Kanu square Owerri
The programme will culminate in a Grand Finale on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at Government House, Owerri, featuring an Honours Awards ceremony and the unveiling of a commemorative book, Imo @ 50: The Full Story.
