The passing on and funeral arrangements of the paramount ruler of Ibeme Ancient Kingdom in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State,HRH Eze Dr Celestine Ezeakachukwu Okoroike,JP ( Eze Isiala III of Ibeme Ancient Kingdom), has been announced.
In a release issued last week and jointly signed by Chief Cosmas Okoroji ( Palace Secretary) and Prince Donald Okoroike ( First Son), the traditional ruler passed on after a protracted illness.
According to the release, Friday,26th December 2025 will be Vigil Mass, Service of Songs & Wake -Keep, while Saturday,27th December 2025 will be the funeral ceremony and interment.
” He was a one time chairman of Ugiri Council of Traditional Rulers,a two time chairman of Isiala Mbano Council of Traditional Rulers and a former Secretary of Okigwe Zone Council of Traditional Rulers for many years”, the release stressed.
