With the elastic positive nod for the programmatic agenda of the government of Imo State and resultant multiplies in practically walking the talk of governance, the APC Osu Achara Ward Executives, Leaders, booth Chairmen on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at an extraordinary emergency meeting held at Umunanje , Orji town hall, reviewed the state of the party, followershp, governance and it’s empirical impact in the well-being of the people at the Ward, Local government and the state levels.
With an impressive commanding presence of Osu Achara APC apparatchik and key holders in the Uzodimma power house, through isosceles political consensus, the party passed vote of confidence on His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State for his seamless revolutionary political sagacity, even handedness in delivery of the socio-economic quintessence of government, particularly, his impactful populist bottom -top ascendance leadership model.
Side by side with transformative gusto, Governor Uzodimma received glowing altitude of appreciation showered on him for keeping faith with the Apex Leader of the APC Osu Achara Ward, the Honourable Commissioner for Finance and Coordinating Economy, Chuck Chuckuemeka, one of the rare cerebral exports in the world of public finance, prudential fiscal discipline, vote catching magnetic enigma, an Uzodimmaist gospeller.
The Ward Chairman, Honourable Iyke Ujunwa lauded the tenacious discipline and loyalty of the party Executives, Leaders and Booth Chairmen despite challenges.
He admonished the party members to go fishing so as to politically win souls to swell the ranks of the faithful, not just to win elections but to synergize with the people and leadership of the party to market government programmes at all levels.
One of the key factors of the extraordinary emergency meeting was the urgent need to heed the call by the Apex Leader of APC Osu Achara, Hon. Chuck Chuckuemeka for massive mobilisation of the people of Osu Achara to take full advantage of the on-going voter registration exercise. To this end, the template of the Hon. Commissioner for Finance for the engagement of the traditional institution, the clergy, town union Presidents-General, village heads and town criers was adopted as engaging planks for voter registration mobilisation mantra. The Hon. Commissioner received a deafening applause when he promised award for any autonomous community in Osu Achara with the highest voter registrants.
The House harped on the need to leverage the Imo State Government’s Medical Health Insurance Scheme where the Apex Leader used his tertiary outreach to attract, register and drew the attention and commitment of our people, particularly the Diaspora to cast their lot for the scheme which saw the practical enrollment of 200 Osuachara people by him . That building on this feat, the multiplier effect will crystalize into building block of trust for mobilisation.
Following the growing enthusiasm of the people for the Federal Government”s partnership with Imo State Government empowerment Forms, an offshoot of the twin agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope and 3R mantra of Governor Uzodimma, the party called for equitable distribution of the empowerment Forms. Jude Egbuleze, representative of Osu Achara at the Isiala Mbano Legislative council promised to do the needful.
The APC Youth Leadership anchored by Mr. Chigekwu Ikeji with support from Ikechukwu Jonathan Nnadi assured the House that the youths of Osu Achara shall be mobilized to actualise the party and government directives as encapsulated in the extraordinary emergency meeting of the day.
Hon. Uchechukwu Echerodo, Osu Achara Ward Councilor Emeretus who is now the SA to the Hon. Commissioner for Finance, the dutifully APC Ward Secretary, Ebere Ihemeje and Hon. Maurice Okeke, immediate past SA to Governor Uzodimma on Community Relations were on the same page on the Clarion echo for fraternal cohesion at the base of the spectrum of the political strata as envisioned by His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodinma.
The House adjourned sine die after thanking the Governor for the Constitution of Vigilante to secure our communities which has brought relative safety of live and property.
Finally, motion motion for adjournment was moved by Hon. Maurice Okeke and supported by Jude Egbuleze, Osu Achara representative at the Isiala Mbano LGA.
