… As Okoroike, Party leaders commend Uzodimma, APC ,Say party has no rival in Isiala Mbano LGA

The Imo APC State Working Committee led by the State Chairman , Hon. Macdonald Ebere PhD, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, visited Isiala Mbano LGA for membership verification exercise. The epoch event which took place at the council headquarters in Umuelemai, was well attended by members of the state working committee, councillors, prominent party leaders in Isiala Mbano LGA, LGA and ward executive members, LGA appointees, among numerous party faithfuls in the LGA .

Speaking during the August visit, the APC State Chairman, Hon. Macdonald Ebere PhD, commended the Executive Chairman of Isiala Mbano LGA, Hon. Evang. Chika Okoroike for his commendable achievements in office and for being an exemplary ambassador of the party in the LGA. While expressing satisfaction with the vibrant status of the party in the LGA, he noted that the purpose of their visit was to assess the strength of the party in Isiala Mbano LGA and to engage with its leadership.

The state Chairman, expressing his gratitude to the leaders and members of the party in Isiala Mbano LGA for their unwavering support, commended the leadership and members of Isiala Mbano LGA Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the unity, peace, and love that exist among them, stressing that he would convey his findings to the Executive Governor of Imo State, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, who is the leader of the party in the state.

In his address, the Isiala Mbano LGA Council Chairman, Hon. Evang. Chika Okoroike, commended the state Chairman for his exemplary leadership in the party, expressing gratitude to the State working committee for visiting Isiala Mbano LGA.

The Council Chairman, while commending Governor Hope Uzodimma for his remarkable achievements in the state, emphasized that the accomplishments of the APC-led administration in the state and the LGA have effectively suffocated other political parties, maintaining that Isiala Mbano people are well pleased with APC.

“My Chairman, I want to tell you one thing: We are the grassroot, we are the strength of the party and we are the reason for any vote for the party”
“Since we resumed office, all other political parties have been suffocated, it is because of our achievements and progress” Okoroike said.

Evang. Okoroike went on to enumerate some of his notable achievements and numerous ongoing projects as well as intervention programs, including: the erosion control work at Nkwo Mbaa gully erosion site, installation of CCTV surveillance cameras at strategic locations across the LGA, construction of the Isiala Mbano LGA coppers lodge, fencing of the Isiala Mbano LGA police Divisional headquarters, the back to farm initiative which empowered farmers and Aladimma women with seedlings, hybrid Cassava stem and Plantain suckers to enhance food sufficiency, the ongoing 28 room office Council secretariat, the Isiala Mbano LGA ICT center offering free training for youths on digital skills, and the youth development action plan. He assured the Imo APC state Chairman, Sir MacDonald Ebere, that his next visit to Isiala Mbano LGA would be for the commissioning of these projects which are almost completed.

Announcing another free skill acquisition program on Forklift operation, Truck driving etc. for youths, the Isiala Mbano LGA revealed that one borehole constituency project has been approved by him for each of the ward Councillors in addition to his rural water availability program through which over 16 boreholes have been revamped.

In their respective speeches, Prof. Jude Nzeako, Hon. Sam Osuji, Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha, Hon. Chief Mrs. Rubby Emele, Engr. Chizitere Ahubelem, Hon. Chuck, expressed gratitude to the state working committee members for visiting Isiala Mbano LGA, while also thanking Governor Hope Uzodimma for his exemplary accomplishments in the state, promising that Isiala Mbano LGA would continue to support APC and the 3R administration of the Governor Hope Uzodimma.
