Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has been extolled for his massive people – oriented projects spread across the nooks and crannies of Imo State in less than Six years of his administration.
Former Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Imo State, Chief Barr Chris Okewulonu gave the commendation on Tuesday while reacting to the State of Imo address presented by Governor Hope Uzodinma to Imo people at the Imo State House of Assembly Chambers, Owerri.
Chief Okewulonu who is a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) noted that Senator Hope Uzodinma in the last five years plus as Governor of Imo State has provided Imo people with massive people – oriented projects across the three zones of the State.
The former lawmaker who has served past administrations in the State at different capacities pointed out that the gigantic projects embarked upon by Governor Hope Uzodinma administration in Imo State were of high quality that will outlived the Governor, adding that Imo people will ever remain gratful to him even after the end of his administration .
The former Commissioner for information and Culture in Imo State however emphasized that the roads and other capital projects been completed and on-going across Imo State goes a long way to show that Governor Hope Uzodinma is a man of prudence and high quality .
On the reason behind Governor Hope Uzodinma’s success story in Imo State Chief Okewulonu attributed it to outstanding leadership qualities, political will, transparency,Vision, capacity, accountability, hard work and above all, trust in God.
He equally stated that what Governor Hope Uzodinma has achieved in less than Six years of his administration in Imo State has positioned the State as one of the fastest growing economy in Nigeria which according to him, will in no distant time attract more investment to the State .
The seasoned administrator cum legal icon highlighted some of the people- oriented projects which include, Owerr- Orlu road, Owerri – Okigwe road, Owerri-Obowo – Umuahia road, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre, Asumpta roundabout flyover, Imo Independent Power Station, Renovation of Concord Hotel and Construction of various internal roads across the capital city of Owerri among others and assured that when the projects are completed it will take Imo State to the highest level of development to the overall benefit of the good people of imo State.
Ebekuodike Obowo also commended the Speaker and members of Imo State House of Assembly and other government functionaries in Imo State for their unalloyed support to the Governor which he noted enabled the Governor to achieve alot for Imo people.
He however enjoined the entire Imo people both at home and in Diaspora to continue supporting Governor Hope Uzodinma to encourage him complete all the land mark projects he has started across Imo State.
