The Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri will on Saturday, February 8, 2025, ordain 17 Deacons.
The ceremony is to take place at Maria Assumpta Cathedral, in Owerri the state capital with the Holy Mass beginning at 10.00am.
This was disclosed in a Letter captioned, “PUBLICANDUM which was signed by the Archbishop of Owerri, Lucius Iwejuru Ugorji
The 17 candidates who are to be ordained are Ajubie Remigius, Chukwu Augustine, Egbujor Stephen, Ibekwe Bright, Ibeh Simon Peter, Iwuala, Hyacinth, Njoku Charles, Nwaeze Solomon, Ogbuneke Reginald, Oguariri Philip
Others include: Okereke Samuel, Onwusiribe Christian, Francis Onyeneke, Opara Ambrose, Ugochukwu Emmanuel, Umez-Emeana Marcel, Uzodimma Kingsley.
