A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the South East National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has applauded Governor Hope Uzodimma, for what he described as an unprecedented wave of infrastructural transformation sweeping across the State, saying the administration has continued to demonstrate that governance is most meaningful when it directly improves the lives of the people.
Arodiogbu, in a statement made available to journalists, said the ongoing construction of the Dikenafai–Ideato Road stands as another clear testament to Governor Uzodimma’s determination to restore critical infrastructure, reconnect communities and unlock greater economic opportunities for residents.
According to him, the road project is not merely a construction exercise but a strategic investment that will stimulate commerce, ease transportation challenges, enhance agricultural activities and strengthen socio-economic integration among communities within the affected axis.
He noted that for years, many road users and residents along the corridor endured untold hardship arising from the deplorable condition of the route, adding that the present administration deserves commendation for confronting long-standing infrastructural deficits with courage and sincerity.
“The people are witnessing governance driven by vision rather than rhetoric. Across Imo State, ongoing road projects are changing the physical landscape and restoring confidence that government can indeed fulfil its obligations to the citizens.
The Dikenafai–Ideato Road is one of such landmark interventions that will leave lasting developmental impact,” he said.
Arodiogbu further observed that the governor’s infrastructural drive has extended beyond road construction to include urban renewal, rehabilitation of public facilities and other critical projects aimed at positioning Imo for sustainable growth and investment.
He maintained that the administration’s emphasis on quality execution and timely delivery of projects has continued to earn public confidence, describing the governor as a leader committed to laying enduring foundations for future generations.
The APC stalwart urged residents to continue supporting the government’s development agenda by protecting public infrastructure and cooperating with contractors handling ongoing projects.
He expressed optimism that with sustained investment in strategic infrastructure, Imo State would become more competitive, economically vibrant and attractive to investors, while improving the overall standard of living of its people.
Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu reaffirmed his confidence in Governor Uzodimma’s leadership, stressing that the administration’s infrastructural revolution has become a defining feature of purposeful governance and a legacy that would remain visible long after the completion of its tenure.
