The family of HRH Eze Barr. Clement Chidi Okoro, Nna Aku 1 of Amaraku Ancient Kingdom in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State has officially announced the death of their father.
This was contained in a Press Release signed by the Crown Prince of the Palace, Engr. Peter Claver Okoro, Amaraku Ancient Kingdom and made available to newsmen in Owerri on weekend, the State Capital.
According to the Press Statement, His Royal Highness, Late Barrister Clement Chidi Okoro, was a distinguished public servant. He served meritoriously as Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Imo State, Permanent Secretary of Imo State Judicial Service Commission, Commissioner, Imo State House of Assembly Service Commission, and held several other notable positions before his coronation as a traditional ruler.
The Statement which reads in parts, “we regret to formally announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, uncle, brother, grandfather, and traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Eze (Barr.) Clement Chidi Okoro (Nna Aku I) of Amaraku Ancient Kingdom, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, Imo State, who peacefully transitioned”.
“His Royal Highness, Late Barrister Clement Chidi Okoro, was a distinguished public servant. “Throughout his lifetime, he exemplified discipline, compassion, integrity, service to humanity, and unwavering faith in Almighty God. He was a peaceful and selfless leader whose doors were always open to all”.
“As we enter this solemn period of mourning, we call on all sons and daughters of Amaraku Ancient Kingdom at home and in the diaspora, as well as friends and well-wishers across Imo State and beyond, to join us in honouring and celebrating his exceptional legacy”.
“Details of the funeral arrangements will be formally announced in due course by the Royal Palace”.
