The Acting Chairman, Of the Labour Party, Imo State, chapter, and a constituent of the Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal constituency,Chief Inno NwaDavid (KSJI) has reminded the people to be meticulous in their considerations for the House of Representatives’ position in 2027 as it is the turn of Ekwerazu Bloc,in Ahiazu to produce the next House of Reps member.
In a Statement,he issued and made available to Saturday Nigerian Horn, NwaDavid, said that, who will represent the constituency in 2027 is sacrosact and there must be a lot of considerations towards that.
According him, the considerations are,”one it’s Ekwerazu Bloc,in Ahiazu that will produce the next House of Reps member, two, the person must be a verified committed christian, three, the person must have a verified means of livelihood, and will be someone who has an investment in Mbaise, and must have a verifiable good character from his or her community.” he stated.
NwaDavid stressed that the people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte federal constituency will no longer give the position to someone who will remember them only when election is coming close, then such person will start making him or herself available and start sponsoring Bills that will not be realized, just to prove activeness ,among other things.
In his words” we need a person who will be bold in moving into various government organs to discuss and bring development to our federal constituency. As you can see in both Ahiazu/Ezinihitte federal constituency,no good roads, and no one with capacity to ask government why?”he lamented.
He further stated that the constituents need someone who can boldly ask questions about the utilization of the two local governments allocations and why their roads are bad, despite the jumbo allocations.
NwaDavid therefore stressed the need for the people of Ekwerazu to look deeply and get a credible person, possibly a vibrant youth that would be acceptable to both LGAs ,adding that the Federal constituency is overdue to have a credible youth representation in the Green Chambers.
