A popular Journalist, Lecturer and Public Relations Consultant, Dr. Ikenna Onuoha has lost his father, High Chief Augustine Onuoha to the cold hands of death after a protracted illness.
Late High Chief Onuoha, until his death was a community builder, known money lender, practicing Christian, peace maker, philanthropist and a good parent.
He held a Traditional Chieftaincy title of “Omee Okwe” and was popularly known as “Chief Nwayaya” was a reasonable iroko, a rare gem, an epitome of greatness and leadership. He died eight months after his wife, Lolo Regina Uwazuruonye Onuoha was entered.
Information gathered revealed that late Chief Onuoha was both the President General of Amandugba, Umundugba ancient kingdoms and Patron, Ezisu autonomous community traditional council respectively, etc.
A brief statement from Dr. Ikenna, his son indicates that High Chief Onuoha died at the early hours of Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the age of 96 years. He maintains that further information regarding his burial would soon be communicated at the appropriate time.
