The Udogachi Age Grade, Abuja Branch, on Sunday, hosted a grand reception in honor of one of their own, His Royal Highness Eze Kingsley Chidi Anyadike, Ezeoha II of Ehume Autonomous Community, following his recent enthronement as the traditional ruler of Ehume in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State.
The warm reception took place at the royal compound of the monarch in Abuja, marking a significant moment of celebration and unity among the age grade members.
In his address, Chairman of Udogachi Age Grade Abuja, Mr. Marcel Uzor, expressed gratitude to God for elevating one of their members to such a revered position. He lauded the Eze’s ascension as a source of pride and inspiration, encouraging him to lead with integrity and fairness.
Mr. Uzor further advised the traditional ruler to embrace all members of the community, including those who may have opposed him during the contest for the ezeship stool.
In his response, HRH Eze Kingsley Chidi Anyadike reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, assuring his peers that he bears no grudges and intends to carry everyone along in the affairs of Ehume Autonomous Community. He emphasized that he is a king for all, not a sectional leader, and pledged to serve his people with honesty, sincerity, and dedication.
Other members of the Udogachi Age Grade expressed their joy at having a king among them and offered prayers for his long life and successful reign.
