The Senator representing Imo East Senatorial District and the leader of the Peoples’ Movement Distinguished Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi over Easter received Chief Engr Obinna Emenike and his teeming supporters into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Senator Onyewuchi was accompanied by the Zonal Chairman of the Party Chief Justus Ogu, the LGA Council Chairman Barr Alaribe Ihukwumere and members of the party in Aboh Mbaise.
Chief Emenike is a Port-Harcourt based oil and gas mogul who hails from Ibeku Okwuato said he was drawn to the party because of the scintillating performance of Governor Hope Uzodinma and Senator Onyewuchi. He pledged to work assiduously with the party at all levels.
The Zonal Chairman Chief Oguh further promised that Chief Emenike will be given every opportunity to express himself in the party.
Receiving the new members, Senator Onyewuchi asked him to use his wealth of experience to support the transformative government of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma and the APC.
