Despite the blistering heat of the sun the enthusiastic and faithful followers of Dr. Chima Matthew Amadi gathered at the community center as the Central Working Committee of The Mazi Organization arrived to perform the inauguration of their LGA and ward executives.
On arrival the crowd cheerfully welcomed the Leaders from owerri and presented themselves in an orderly manner for the business of the day.
The host and leader of TMO in Isu LGA, Engr. K. K. Ike welcomed the guests and proudly announced that all 30 executives of the LGA and the 30 executives of each of the 11 wards were present in the hall for the inauguration.
The opening remarks for the event was rendered by Dr Chima Amadi himself through a multi media system. This was totally consistent with the human contact approach of Mazi Gburugburu who insists on a direct personal connection with his followers.
In his remarks Mazi Chima Amadi, Gburugburu, expressed a deep appreciation for the commitment and leadership of Engr. K k in making TMO a formidable political family in Isu LGA. He lamented the dire situation of insecurity in the area that forces hardworking and law abiding citizens to close their businesses due security threat.
“It is hard” he said “for families to plan their future in such condition of fear and uncertainty”
Dr Amadi reviewed the entire panorama of challenges confronting the people of Imo State and in conclusion assured the people that these troubles would be seen only in the rear view mirror when he is governor of the State.
The Director General of TMO, Hon Henry Chukwudi Onwukwe in his remarks sincerely acknowledged the commitment demonstrated by the members in Isu and urged them to translate this level of commitment into action by taking the message home to their families and neighbors.
The DG went further to catalogue the immediate impact of Mazi Gburugburu in so short a time using his personal and legitimately earned money.
He reiterated that the challenges confronting Imo people were all man-made and it will take only a man with the pedigree of Dr Chima Matthew Amadi to resuscitate the past glory of the State.
When it was time to perform the act for which members were gathered the DG called upon the Legal Adviser of TMO, Barr. Dr. Uche Nwosu to administer the oat of office on the LGA and ward officers.
