Godly Love (Agape Love) has been escribed as the major Identity of Christianity that should be embraced by Followers of Jesus Christ.
An Enugu based Global Fiery Clergy man Pastor Dr Jerome Chibuzo Nwachukwu who gave the injunction at a Solemn Church Service to mark the Dedication of the City of Refuge Church, Enugu said for anyone to be called a Christian, he/she must imitate the love of God to His people. Pastor Chibuzo Nwachukwu said that the works of Jesus Christ on earth were anchored on compassion maintaining that Love is the Identity of Christianity. He appealed to Christians the World over to love one another as Christ loves. He observed that many people who call themselves Christians only love members of their denomination and hate others. He described such as Pharesaic pointing out that denomination or religion can never lead anyone to heaven. Pastor Chibuzo Nwachukwu who is the Senior Pastor of the Wonders of Divine Grace Church said that Jesus Christ during His Ministry on earth never discriminated against anyone, rather He called all people to be one.
Taking his Text from 1st John, Chapter 4, Vs 7- 22, the Fiery Clergy man said that Uniform, Punctuality to Church and regular attendance to Worship Centres is meaningless without love. He said that where love is, God is there adding that whatever one does without love of God, all the person does is vanity. Pastor Chibuzo Nwachukwu admonished Christians to share love and show love to be able to attract God . He said that even if one is a good preacher, a good singer but doesn’t have love for others,all is in vain. Pastor Chibuzo Nwachukwu observed that many people who call themselves Christians hate other people for nothing because they do not know God irrespective of their carrying and eating the Bible stating that we are light to people when we show love to them. The Senior Pastor of the City of Refuge Church, a k a Wonders of Divine Grace Church remarked that God loves the world and created human beings in His own image,yet we did nothing for Him. He said that “to live for love is to love to live maintaining that for one to enjoy his life, he must love others. He stated that nobody has ever given birth to himself or buried himself adding that such shows that life is all about partnership. The fiery Clergy man said that God’s injunction that husband should love his wife and wife should submit to the husband is a directive and not suggestion. He said that anytime one stops loving, the person stops living because true joy comes through sharing the gifts and love of God noting that God’s Kingdom is an Assembly of Agape Lovers. Pastor Chibuzo Nwachukwu said that God will judge human beings He created and directed in what they should do and what not to do.
Senior Pastor Chibuzo Nwachukwu noted that many people brand their Parents witches and wizards because of false prophecy from fake pastors or babalawos and stressed that God will punish both people fake pastors, babalawos and the children of such parents. He pointed out that Parents will suffer and bring up their children but when it’s time for the children to take care of their parents, they begin to call them Witches and Wizards. He called on those involved to rethink and turn a new leaf before God’s anger visits them.

DEDICATION OF THE CITY OF REFUGE CHURCH, the South East Zonal Regional Pastor of the Dunamis Church, Pastor Paul Odu commended Senior Pastor Jerome Chibuzo Nwachukwu and his wife Dr Mrs Merit Nwachukwu for building such a magnificent Edifice for God. Pastor Odu who represented Senior Pastor Paul Enenche said that dedicating a Church which is inviting God is very important because it acknowledges God’s ownership.
Pastor Odu said that God is the builder of all Churches while man is the channel by which His Word is delivered to the people. He urged Christians to worship God in truth and obey His Commandments as well as stand in purity maintainig that God hates iniquity.
Many dignitaries and Pastors from across the Federation were present at the Dedication ceremony.Among whom were a Former Chairman of the Imo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Ben Osuagwu and his wife Nneoma Ugochi Osuagwu, the Founder of Dunamis Church- Pastor Dr Paul Enenche represented by the Zonal Coordinator for South East Pastor Paul Odu, RevJude Okpoko-President, Pastor Paul Enenche Sons of the Prophet,v Apostle Victor Onyedikachi-Senior Pastor Glory City Church Enugu and Pastor Odinaka -Living Glory International Church.Others are Rev Mrs Beatrice Odunze – co founder Family Circle Ministries, Ikechukwu Ezeugo, Ephraim Amobi and Pastor &Mrs Arungwa-President Mbaise Born Again Christian Association, Enugu Branch.
