Renowned entrepreneur and Chairman of Zinox Group, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, has commended the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma and the Chief Economic Adviser, Professor Kenneth Amaeshi, for their innovative economic strategy aimed at transforming the state into a hub of prosperity under the One Kindred  One Business Initiative.

In a recent commentary, Ekeh praised Amaeshi’s televised presentation of an Imo State Government comprehensive economic blueprint, describing it as a “wealth document” with the potential to revolutionize Imo State’s economic landscape and serve as a model for other states in Nigeria.

Ekeh, a prominent advocate for sustainable development, emphasized that the plan’s structured ecosystem—built on governance, compliance, and strategic foresight—could attract significant investment capital to Imo State and Igbo land at large. “Talent alone does not attract investment capital, but a structured ecosystem—governance, compliance, etc.,” he noted, highlighting the importance of a robust framework to drive economic growth.

Ekeh expressed his complete support for the OKOBI initiative and urged everyone from Imo State to get involved, both financially and morally, to ensure its success beyond the current government. He believes that while this initiative may not seem important now, it could be a powerful solution for prosperity in Imo State and the Igbo community as a whole. He encouraged stakeholders to focus on sustainability and to set aside political differences.

Ekeh’s endorsement of OKOBI underscores the potential of Amaeshi’s economic vision for Imo State’s development, with the tech mogul pledging his personal support and encouraging others to follow suit.

As Imo State positions itself for economic transformation, Ekeh’s remarks signal a growing confidence in the state’s leadership and its forward-thinking policies, which could set a precedent for sustainable development across the region.
