The Ofeahia Autonomous community has presented Nze Godwin Chinedu Ezeasiah as the next EZE- ELECT, on Tuesday, 27th May, 2025, to replace the vacant Royal Traditional STOOL, created by the death of the former Eze, Late HRH EZE SOLOMON MBANUZURU

It was jubilation galore at the atmospheric axis of Mgbidi Secretariat in Oru- West LGA, as the people of Ofeahia Autonomous Community, jubilantly presented Nze Godwin Chinedu Ezeasiah as the next EZE- ELECT to the Oru- West LGA Executive Chairman who holds sway as the ALGON Chairman in Imo State Engr. Ikenna Anthony Adikibe ( Ph. D), to enable the Executive Chairman forward the Eze – Elect’s profiles and documents to the Office of His Excellency Most Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma CON GSSR Executive Governor of Imo-State for Perusal, Investigation, approval and Award of Certificate of Recognition of Ezeship within the Imo-State Council of Traditional Rulers.

The Deputy President – General of Ofeahia Autonomous community Mr Ernest obiamaka Okorogu presented the EZE- ELECT to Executive Chairman Engr. Adikibe for necessary Government Formalities and Procedures.

Mr Okorogu informed the Oru- West LGA Executive Chairman that the People of Ofeahia Autonomous Community successfully elected Nze Godwin Chinedu Ezeasiah as her EZE- ELECT.

Engr. Adikibe welcomed the EZE- ELECT as he urged the people of Ofeahia to maintain decorum, peace, brotherly love as well as cooperate with the EZE- ELECT.

The Executive Administrator charged the Ofeahia community to promote security, peace and tranquility among themselves as well as report suspicious criminal elements in their midst to Security Agencies and Oru-West LGA for prompt actions.

In his vote of thanks the EZE- ELECT Nze Godwin Chinedu Ezeasiah thanked his people of Ofeahia Community for finding him worthy to lead them and the Ofeahia Autonomous Community as their Eze-Elect. He appealed for their tremendous support even as he promised to discharge his duty without fear or favour.
