The four day National Media Summit sponsored by the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu and facilitated by QM Africa Consult Limited has started in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Anyanwu’s resolve to sponsor such an intellectual programme is to elevate social media practice in Nigeria through consistent engagement of vibrant youths.
The exercise comes in segments with resource persons drawn from tertiary institutions.
The summit which has the theme: “Content Revolution, Authenticity and Style; Parameters to Grow in the Dynamic Digital Landscape” is aimed at fostering resource-based platform for social media practitioners in Nigeria.
As a political leader in the country, Anyanwu’s sponsored summit is part of his contributions to youth empowerment through consistent training in media practice targeted at down playing disinformation and misinformation in the society.
Participants were drawn from across the country with great number of Imo youths involved in the exercise. The summit is one of Anyanwu’s numerous programmes for social development and political balance in Nigeria
