Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paul Emeziem has described the state Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma as the genuine achiever.
He said that Uzodinma’s projects unlike those of his immediate predecessors are visible, traceable, durable and sustainable.
The Speaker, who is also the Technical Committee Chairman of the ongoing APC Nationwide Membership Registration and Revalidation exercise in the state, stated this at official reception of members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Action Alliance (AA), All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), among others in Oru East led by the LGA Chairman to APC held at the Council headquarters, yesterday.
He urged the new party members and other stakeholders in the area to be on the frontline of galvanizing massive support for Governor Uzodinma who incidentally hails from the area.
According to him, Governor Uzodinma has done well so far and needs support from all and sundry to enable him achieve his laudable vision and developmental programes for the state.
Adding their voices, Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri, lawmaker representing the area, Hon. Nnyerere Ogbonna, council boss, Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo, former lawmaker for Oru East, and Marcel Okoro, Cordinating Chairman of President Generals in the area, all applauded the Speaker for the visit and assured him of their continued unalloyed support for both the governor and the party.
Prominent among the defectors include Hon. Chief Harry Ihebinike, Chief Calistus Ugoeze, Hon. Anayo Nawjiezi, Nze Gabriel Nwokeocha, Mrs. Adiline Ugorji, and Chief Sabinus Okeke.
Major and Critical Stakeholders of Oru East present at the event include Hon. Ifeanyi Oruh, SA on Rural Development, Prof. Jude Ibe, Hon. Anthony Akuneme SA on ICT, Hon. Nkeiru Ezuma, SA on Health Care Services, Hon. Alloysious Nnawugo, SA, Diaspora, Lolo Ogbonna Ogechi, wife of TC Chairman, among others.
Meanwhile those in the Speaker’s entourage were Hon. Eddy Obinna and Hon. Chidi Ogbunikpa, members representing Aboh Mbaise and Okigwe in the state House of Assembly, Dr. Alex Onyebuchi, Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Hon. Chukwunonye Irounno, Chief of Protocol to the Speaker and others.
