It was razzmatazz when Imo governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha stormed Ibari Ogwa Entertainment world, in a musical concert themed – Bongo Night with the Governor, for the Independence Day celebration.
Collectively hosted by Imo entertainers through the office of the Special Assistant to the governor on Entertainment, it was a night of music and comedy.
The night witnessed the official unveiling of Ikwokirikwo, one of the delicacies of Ibari Ogwa Entertainment World. Elated by the host, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha extended his scheduled time into late midnight, as the fun which was responsibly slated took the order of the day.
Appreciating the humility of the governor for finding time to interact with Imo entertainers, Mr. Chukwudi Ofoha expressed his gratitude while mentioning the infrastructural rescue made by the Rebuild Imo government through the dualization process of Assumpta/Ibari Ogwa/Port Harcourt road, which he said would add ease to business transactions in the area.
Live performances were made by top Southeast highlife musicians, among them were Shama Melody, Okwesili Eze Nwaonyeigbo, Akira Moses, Udara Onyeuwa, MC Osuofia, ND Arabanko, Saro Wiwa alongside others.
