The youth wing of Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union has rejected the interim committee allegedly set up by the traditional rulers of the clan.
They made this known in a communique signed by the National President, Hon. Eziefula Nnadi and its National Secretary Engr. Ofoegbu Raphael respectively which condemned in totality the purported interim committee by HRH Eze Dr. PC Opara led Mbieri council of ndi Eze.
According to them, the election must go on as scheduled on Saturday, 27th, 2019, having critically analyzed the content of the unscrupulous drafted document which is aimed at disintegrating and truncating the peaceful coexistence, rapid rural infrastructural development, security stability and educational / cultural advancement which has been vigorously pursued by the present administration of Deacon Chuma Okwodu.
The youths said that having consulted widely with various community youth leaders as regards to the looming imbroglio that the purported interim committee would cause, decided to go on with the election.
According to them, they have written to the Mbieri council of ndi Eze to notify them to denounce the purported letter calling for interim government in Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union.
They also demanded apology from Ndi Mbieri Ezes in 48 hours requesting the council to state that it was a false proclamation and mistake on their part and plead for forgiveness.
The youths further stated that there is no insecurity or chaos as claimed, maintaining that there is relative peace and order in Mbieri land.
They however condemned in its totality the purported dissolution of Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union and the composition of interim government is declared null and void.
They maintained that the unconstitutional, illegal dissolution of an already existing leadership of Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union has no effect and would not stand.
The youths of Mbieri Nwaotuoke Union wish to reiterate that they will not hesitate to do the needful and effectively implore measures that will sustain the harmonious working relationship being enjoyed by the clan.
They therefore invites all sons and daughters of Mbieri nation to come out enmass on Saturday, 27, 2019 to vote and be voted for.
